So Queen's 90th birthday has been and gone. The party's over and we expect that the last piece of the cake, expertly made by Nadiya (#GBBO winner), is being politely passed around the palace and the last few plastic cups are being collected and dumped into a black bin liner. What's this got to do with social media? you're wondering. Well, there was another story about The Queen that made it's way into the media this week. It seems The Queen is looking for a Social Media Manager. Why? The advert explains;
It's about never standing still and finding new ways to maintain The Queen's presence in the public eye.
This fantastic, we love this. The Queen and The Royal Household clearly understand the relevance and importance of social media, and it's ability to reach a wide audience. The salary for the role, we know you're wondering, £50K.
So our question for you is, who's keeping you and your business in the public eye? We won't charge you £50K but we will make sure your business gets noticed.
Oh, and if you're reading this in England, happy St. Georges Day.
